The path to judicial appointment may seem daunting and mystifying to many who wish to serve on the bench. This panel is designed to bring clarity to the process and to encourage qualified candidates to apply. You will have a chance to hear directly from Joshua P. Groban, Senior Advisor for Policy and Appointments for Governor Jerry Brown, Lara M. Krieger, Vice Chair of the Commission on Judicial Nominees Evaluation (JNE), and Judge Peter Espinoza, Judge of the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

While advance registration (both online and via phone) closes for most programs approximately 12-24 hours before event time (in order to allow for operational considerations), LACBA would still like to have you attend, and you are more than welcome to register on-site and attend, unless the program is specifically noted as SOLD OUT.
