Esther K. Ro is an associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Ms. Ro represents clients in business, corporate and intellectual property disputes. She is a graduate of Stanford University (B.A. in Political Science and Asian American Studies) and UCLA School of Law (with a specialization in Critical Race Studies). While in law school, Ms. Ro served as the chief articles editor of the Asian Pacific American Law Journal and as a law clerk at the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund. Before attending law school, Ms. Ro worked as an investment analyst at Pantheon Ventures, a private equity fund of funds.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Ro served as a fellow with the Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps at the Asian Pacific American Legal Center (now Asian Americans Advancing Justice - LA), where she assisted Korean-speaking homeowners who were victims of loan modification scams. Prior to her fellowship, Ms. Ro was an associate in the Los Angeles office of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey LLP (now Squire Patton Boggs), where she focused on general commercial litigation, with a concentration on products liability and toxic tort defense.
Ms. Ro currently serves on the Associate Leadership Board of Public Counsel and the Pro Bono Advisory Board of Asian Americans Advancing Justice – LA. She is actively involved with Morgan Lewis’s diversity, associate and summer program initiatives.
